As you probably know, without readers, authors are as effective as actors on the stage of an empty theatre. We could be giving you the best production of Hamlet ever to tread the boards, but without an audience, it's just so much air.
Fact is, we need readers like actors need audiences; like green gowing things need rain; like Gideon needs Elvis; like I need Ben & Jerry's… anyway, my point is, the worlds we create, the adventures we forge, the characters we breathe life into are nothing if they go unseen.
Since this is the case, I'm sending up the call to my readers to be part of the journey. It’s because of you that I get to write in the first place, and you're already the most important part of the equation so, shouldn’t you get to feel part of that somehow? It’s your encouragement and kind reviews that keep this airship flying, so why not find a way to reward that dedication?
Well, I think I’ve come up with a solution. Starting today, I’m launching the Fadge Press Launch Team… (*Just Fadge…)
Here’s the deal:
Sign up below to join the Launch Team, and, in return you’ll get:
Free advance preview copies of EVERYTHING I release – including books, audiobooks and merchandise (as soon as we can afford to make audiobooks and merchandise).
Personal acknowledgements thanking you by name inside every book release (both digital and paper)
I addition, just for signing up, I’ll add your name to regular raffles to win signed paper copies, Amazon Gift Cards, Kindle ereaders, and other swag.
This is completely different to being part of my mailing list – you’ll be part of a select group of power readers. In addition to getting free copies of EVERYTHING I release before anyone else, you get to see the impact your support has on the success of my work. In short, think of this as a VIP Membership Scheme. If it does really well, we might even manage those Elvis plushies!
If this sounds like something you’d like to be part of, there’s only one caveat. Being part of the Launch Team means you’ll be asked to leave a review of the books you receive within a certain time period after receiving your copies (usually 1 – 3 weeks). As far as catches go, I’m hoping that’s not too bad! So, if you’d like to be part of the team, just sign up below!

After you’ve signed up you'll be asked to confirm your subscription. As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or get in touch via Facebook here: https://www.facebook.com/KathleenMcClureAuthor/
Thanks for all your hard work and support!
